What’s something unexpected about you? I played lead electric guitar for two different rock bands at UMaine, and we won 1st place in the Battle of the Bands at UMaine two separate times.

What do you love about Maine? I love the diverse and strikingly beautiful Maine landscape and the helpful friendly people that live here.
What’s something unexpected about you? I’m a coxswain for Bowdoin’s rowing team. This spring my boat won gold in our division at the New England Rowing Championships for our division.

In 2010 I cofounded a non-profit to renovate a classroom and deliver resources to a school in Iganga, Uganda. The non-profit is called SONG, Sponsorship of New Grace.
